What Are The Qualities Of A Good Leadership

Qualities Of A Good Leader

I write a number of posts referring to leadership. Why is this?

If you are running your own business, you will soon learn you will need to separate yourself from your competition. You need to be smarter.

If you have the solution to someone’s problem, show them the way, build a relationship and people will want to buy from you.

There are many aspects to building an online home business. It’s not purely down to making sales.

One key aspect is connecting with people. Once this happens, something interesting happens. You enter the space of leadership – displaying qualities of a good leader.

Only 3% of people operate in the space of leadership through the space of positive thinking.

Don’t be a victim. Become a leader. Only you can take 100% responsibility of your business and your life.

When operating in the space of a leader, you need to be teachable? Everything we know has been learnt from someone else. What maybe new to you will not be new to them.

Qualities Of A Good Leader Is Being Teachable

Be hungry for knowledge. Be teachable. Here are some “teachable” pointers. Read through and provide some honest answers.

  1. Are you open to other people’s thoughts and ideas?
  2. Do you listen more than you talk?
  3. Are you willing to change your opinion based on new information?
  4. Do you readily admit when you’re wrong?
  5. Do you think and observe before acting on the information?
  6. Do you ask questions?
  7. Are you willing to ask questions that may expose your ignorance?
  8. Are you doing things you have never done before?
  9. Are you willing to ask for directions?
  10. Do you act defensively when you get criticised? Do you listen openly for the truth?

Qualities Of A Good Leader And Change

The biggest fear in respect to progress is the resistance to change. You need to embrace a culture to change.

What got you to where you are today may not get you to where you want be tomorrow.

There is a need to change in order to respond to the changing market. It is too dangerous to continue with the status quo.

Don’t pay lip service to change. Don’t become a victim when your business starts failing and don’t point the blame.

Stay ahead of your competition, stay teachable, connect with people, embrace change and be that leader people are looking for. You will then see the results you truly deserve.

As pointed out earlier, very few people show the traits of a leader. You can become that leader in your business.
